Less than 24 hours later, another boy needed our help. His first people said their older dogs had started picking on him. He came to us with a collar too small and a broken leash. Oh, and the name Stitch. They said he was 6 months old, but he acted much younger so we do not know. They showed us pictures of his parents. His dad was a Dalmatian and his mom is a brindled boxer. This boy was much more nervous and did not respond to his name. The guys tried several names until one morning I woke up and automatically said to him, "Come on Lance, let's go potty." And he did! Lance is it! 3 years later, Lance is much bigger, is still a picky eater. and is also an Autism Service Dog for a young man on the autism spectrum. They make a great team together. Hoping for many years together too. <update> Lance and his human dad were in a car accident November of 2016. Lance's x-rays show he has torn ligaments on both sides of his knees. It is suggested that knee surgery will help. Can you help Lance and his handler raise the money needed for the surgeries? Find the gofundme link here: www.gofundme.com/ru-help-lance.
